Iris Folding Class tonight at Auburn Hills Library

Class meets at 6:30 pm in the small conference room downstairs.  Here's another Iris Folding card. The pattern is from Iris Folding by Michelle Powell.

If you want to learn Iris Folding, the class still has a few spots open. You may call the Auburn Hills Library at 248-370-9466 or register on line. Class meets 6:30--8:00 pm.. Here's a few cards made with Iris Folding. templates for the tea kettle and square can be found at www.iris-folding.com and the tulip can be found at www.tractorsupply.com. Recycled security envelopes (junk mail) were used in the square. There is no charge for the class. We will have supplies on hand, but if you have some decorative papers you'd like to use, please bring them. Other supplies to bring if you have at home are:  scissors, exacto knife, paper trimmer and bone folder. Hope to see you there!

Our eleventh annual benefit concert will feature band members and friends performing a variety of works in a casual concert setting. Beer, wine and snacks will be served.

Beginning Calligraphy Class starting March 5

My Beginning Calligraphy class starts this Thursday, March 5 at the Troy Historic Village. The Village is located at the corner of Wattles and Livernois.  Here is a sample of the Italic hand that will be taught.
